MISSION: The American Toy Marble Museum preserves and disseminates, through multimedia exhibitions and displays, the history of the American toy industry in the city where it all started: Akron, Ohio.   In order to keep the engineering, arts and games of American marbles alive, the museum promotes quality playtime activities for children of all ages. Such activities include the organizing of children's sporting events and the creation of an interactive museum. The museum strives to promote good sportsmanship and fair play, to discourage delinquency, and to encourage an exploration of both the scientific and aesthetic potential to be found in a bag of marbles.
